We have been using the Noflex for about a year on the MV SEA Q in Vancouver
On our boat we have 4 Sealand vacuum and 2 gravity dump toilets all going into separate holding tanks with the vacuum toilets; in the winter we put one cap down every week to keep the waste ?liquid? and to control odor out side the ship. Come summer I use more to keep the overboard drain from possible plugging. I also have removed the charcoal vent filters that are a pain to change now that the odors are gone. The worse toilets are the gravity flush If you haven?t used them for a while; the first flush floods the boat with the most heavenly smell. It?s surprising how fast and how long it takes to air the ship out .
With these I always make sure that I dose each by flushing a cap down when I leave the boat and add a cap into the flush water in the bowel (it just sits there and doesn?t dissolve even after a month) .This way the first flush puts more into the tank below and there are no nasty surprises for the first user.
I find the powder works instantly on contact to get rid of the smells it doesn?t take the twenty minutes they say which is even better for me.
The only problem with the stuff is everyone borrows it from the boat and doesn?t replace it.
The bastards
